Welcome to our website. Please explore it to learn about the benefits of membership in the Sons of Italy. If you think you would like to join our organization, to be eligible one must have been born in Italy or be a descendent or spouse of one of Italian lineage. Those adopted by individuals of Italian descent are also eligible for membership. In addition, we have a "Social" membership available for those not qualifying above.

Our members hold the key to our success. We need members like yourself who will attend meetings regularly, volunteer your talents for projects, be active in fundraisers and benefits, solicit friends and family as members, be active on committees, form and strengthen friendships and be devoted to the values of the heritage we each share.

Our dues are as follows:

Regular Member - $60/year, plus a one time $10 admission fee and $5 Mortuary fee (Total: $75). Must be under 65 when first joining.

Junior Member (under 18 or in school, up to age 26) - $9/year with Insurance or free without.

Associate Member - $40/year and no Mortuary Insurance required. $10 one time Membership age fee. Must be over 65 when first joining.

Social Member (non Italian) - $37/year and no Mortuary Insurance required. $10 one time Membership fee.

Guidelines for new member acceptance:

Potential member must explain “Why s/he wants to join”.

Must attend 2 dinners and 1 function or interlodge meeting/dinner.

Potential member must know the Mission of our lodge and OSIA.

Must meet and have a conversation with either the lodge President or one of the membership committee members.

Must have a sponsor to present them to the board and speak for them. The sponsor must validate their knowledge of our Lodge and OSIA.

The vote at our business meeting to accept new members will be by secret ballot and a simple majority.

If a potential member is a blood relative or related by marriage, a partner, or a registered domestic partner then they are exempt from #1, #2 and #4 above.

A potential member can ask to join or a member can ask them to join. It can be either way.

A copy of a Membership Application can be obtained from the Lodge President, Financial Secretary, or a person on the membership committee.
